The Cultural District of San Angelo, Texas, contains several cultural attractions suitable for all ages. It’s located just south of the downtown area.
Downtown San Angelo was a nice surprise on our road trip through the American West. We stopped to visit my good friend Lenny who has lived there for many years.
Marfa was a fun town to visit. Although our time there was short, we really enjoyed the quirkiness mixed in with the history. I’d love to go back and spend more time there.
Our short trip to Roswell, New Mexico, consisted of a morning walking through the small downtown area as well as a visit to a UFO-inspired museum.
Las Cruces is a city in southern New Mexico. It’s located near the Texas border and has lots of opportunities for recreation both in the city and surrounding areas.
Madrid, pronounced MAD-rid, is a small village in New Mexico. It sits along the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway and is home to a small artists’ community. We stopped in Madrid while driving between Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
Santa Fe Plaza sits at the heart of historic downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico. The plaza is a National Historic Landmark.
Historic downtown Santa Fe is a beautiful place to take a walk. There’s plenty of things to see and do, including restaurants, art galleries, and shopping, and the architecture is amazing.
Barrio de Analco is a historic neighborhood in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It sits south of the heart of downtown Santa Fe.
