Walking up and down the streets of Bellavista in Santiago is enough to keep someone busy for a couple hours. Not only are the buildings colorful, but there is impressive street art and eye-popping murals everywhere.
Murals on Pio Nono
Along the main drag of Pio Nono are probably the most impressive of the murals.
Along Calle Purisima
It’s rewarding to walk down other streets as well. The best stretch was along Purisima. There were more murals, almost no people, and some of the murals were just as impressive as on Pio Nono.
Side Streets
Almost all of the quiet side streets also had some nice work.
Mural Near La Chascona
Near La Chascona, the house of Pablo Neruda, is a beautiful mural dedicated to the poet. It was one of my favorites in Bellavista.
