Karaağaç is a pleasant suburb of Edirne, Turkey. It sits about four kilometers southwest of the historic city center. There are wide leafy streets full of cafés as well as traditional wooden Ottoman homes.
Jaffa is a lively area and one of the main attractions in Tel Aviv. Also known as Yafo or Joppa, it’s an ancient port city that was annexed by Tel Aviv on April 24, 1950.
We were very much looking forward to exploring Acre on our guided day trip of northern Israel. Unfortunately, the tour was terribly organized and we didn’t get to see it properly.
