The Piazza dei Signori is a small but popular square in the UNESCO World Heritage listed city of Verona, Italy. It’s located right next to the Piazza delle Erbe and is surrounded by historic political and administrative buildings connected by arches topped with statues.
Piazza delle Erbe is the old market square in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Verona. During Roman times, it was the location of the forum.
I really enjoyed Verona, but Juliet’s House (Casa di Giulietta) was the mother of all tourist traps. Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet takes place in Verona during the 1300s, and the city has definitely capitalized on the popularity of the fictional lovers.
Piazza Brà is the largest square in the city of Verona, Italy. It’s lined with cafés and restaurants and has a few important buildings on it. The square is part of Verona’s UNESCO World Heritage listing.
Lower Town (Città Bassa) is the more modern part of the Italian city of Bergamo. It’s not as interesting as Upper Town (Città Alta) but it still has some good attractions, especially for art lovers.
We’ve been able to do a few more things for the school in Belén de Umbría since our last update in March. Once the construction finished and supplies were given to the students, we decided to look at the smaller issues affecting the school.
