Génova is a small town on the southern end of the Quindío department of Colombia. It’s part of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia.
Macon is a city in central Georgia with plenty to keep you busy for a day or two. As the birthplace or hometown of several great musicians, it’s a good place for music lovers. History and architecture buffs will also enjoy what they find. Macon’s slogan is “where soul lives”.
Snoqualmie Falls is one of the most popular natural attractions in Washington. It’s located only a half hour drive from Seattle and can be combined with a wine tasting trip to nearby Woodinville.
The small unincorporated village of La Push, Washington, is located a short drive west of Forks. It sits on the Pacific Ocean.
The Makah Reservation is the home of the Makah tribe. It’s on the northwestern tip of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington.
The city of Forks is the largest settlement near the western side of Olympic National Park. It makes a great base to visit the park. We spent two nights there and found it to be very centrally located.
With snow-capped mountains, pristine lakes, magical rain forest, and wild Pacific beaches, Olympic National Park is one of the nation’s best. This park in northwest Washington has almost a million acres of wilderness waiting to be explored.
Downtown Seattle consists of a handful of interesting neighborhoods as well as important cultural and historical attractions.
