Quimbaya is a town in the Coffee Region of Colombia, located about 40 minutes from Armenia. Some rural parts of the town are included in the UNESCO World Heritage listed Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia.
Filandia is one of the best towns to visit in the Coffee Region of Colombia. It’s become quite the tourist hotspot over the years and has many colorful buildings all over town. Filandia boldly refers to itself as “the most beautiful town in Quindío”, much to the chagrin of its rival town, nearby Salento.
Santa Fe de Antioquia is a beautiful town of full of cobblestone streets and colonial architecture. It’s not your typical Antioquian town and there’s plenty to see.
Jericó, a town in the southwest of the Antioquia department, is located just over a couple hours from Medellín. It’s one of Colombia’s prestigious Heritage Towns (Pueblos Patrimonio) and one of the country’s most picturesque towns.
