Ahlat is a town on the north shore of Lake Van in Turkey. It’s known for the large number of historic tombstones in the cemetery.
Adilcevaz is a town on the north shore of Lake Van in Turkey. There’s not a whole lot to see but it makes for a nice stop if you’re passing through the area.
Kars is a small city in the northeast corner of Turkey. It’s the gateway to the archaeological site of Ani and has plenty of attractions itself.
Ani (Անի) is a ruined medieval Armenian city in Eastern Anatolia, right on the border with Armenia. It’s remote but well worth the effort to visit.
