The Bird Garden (Kuşluk Bahçesi) is one of the gardens at Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul, Turkey. It’s located between the Harem Garden and Selamlık Garden.
The Harem at Dolmabahçe Palace contained the private living quarters of the Ottoman sultan and his family. It was completely isolated from the outside world.
After passing through the Treasury Gate, visitors to Dolmabahçe Palace enter the Selamlık area. It makes up the southern wing of the palace and was reserved for men only.
The entrance to Dolmabahçe Palace is through the Treasury Gate. Visitors can purchase tickets and get their audioguides outside the gate.
The less-visited eastern section of Dolmabahçe Palace contains the palace’s functional buildings as well as two museums.
