Travel tips for Salento, a small town in the Colombian Coffee Region that cannot be overlooked by visitors to the country. It retains its traditional feel and has something to offer just about everyone.
The small town of Apía sits high in the mountains of Colombia’s coffee growing region. It’s part of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia and a pleasant off the beaten path place to visit.
Cerritos is a suburb just west of Pereira, Colombia. It’s mostly residential but there are a few great hotels and restaurants in the area. Bioparque Ukumarí and Parque Consotá are also located there.
A guide of where to eat in Pereira. There are a lot of good restaurants to choose from and a good variety of cuisine. Most can be found in the entertainment district along Avenida Circunvalar while the city center has a few decent choices as well.
