Parque Los Arrieros is an entertaining theme park in Colombia aimed at protecting the culture and heritage of the Coffee Region. It’s located on the road between the towns of Quimbaya and Montenegro.
Do you ever wonder what really goes into making your morning cup of coffee? It’s not something most people think twice about. Living in Colombia, one of the top coffee producers in the world, I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to make a simple cup of coffee. For many people, coffee isn’t just a refreshing hot drink. It’s their livelihood, culture, and much more.
Several Colombian friends had suggested I visit the town of Quimbaya, about 40 minutes from Armenia. I decided to take their advice and visit. Some rural parts of Quimbaya are located in the UNESCO World Heritage listed Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia.
Just the thought of an amusement park with a coffee theme was intriguing to me. Parque del Café, part of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia, is located in a beautiful green valley in the heart of Coffee Country near the town of Montenegro in the department of Quindío.
