Filandia is one of the best towns to visit in the Coffee Region of Colombia. It’s become quite the tourist hotspot over the years and has many colorful buildings all over town. Filandia boldly refers to itself as “the most beautiful town in Quindío”, much to the chagrin of its rival town, nearby Salento.
The Barbas Bremen Nature Reserve (Reserve Natural Barbas Bremen) is a section of virgin Andean humid forest in the Coffee Region of Colombia. It’s located near the town of Filandia.
The small town of Belén de Umbría is my home in Colombia. It is a coffee growing town that sits up in the mountains surrounded by a beautiful green landscape. Both the urban area and certain rural areas are part of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia.
Parque Consotá is a great recreational park for families. It’s not too far outside Pereira.
