The Venetian is one of the most popular resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s modeled after the city of Venice, complete with canals and gondolas.
Exterior
The exterior of the Venetian pays incredible attention to detail. Famous features such as the Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Campanile, the Rialto Bridge, and even the Column of San Marco (the Lion of Venice) have been constructed to make visitors feel as if they’ve been transported to Venice.
You’ll be able to walk over the Rialto Bridge and through the Doge’s Palace for great views of the property. Take a ride on a gondola with a singing gondolier to be further immersed into the atmosphere.
Interior
The interior of the hotel pays homage to Venetian style and luxury. Walk in through the lobby and you’ll be treated to the opulence of Venice.
Grand Canal Shoppes
Another popular feature of the resort is the Grand Canal Shoppes. Under soft blue skies, you’ll walk along a mock Grand Canal past high-end stores and restaurants. You might even catch a gondolier singing to a couple while navigating the canals.
Palazzo
The Venetian’s sister hotel, the Palazzo, is connected via the Grand Canal Shoppes. Another high-end hotel, the Palazzo is also pleasant to walk through.
On my first visit in October, the hotel had falling leaves suspended from the ceiling to capture the autumn season. We also enjoyed the waterfall and decor in front of it.
