Caesar’s Palace is one of the most famous resorts to ever grace the Las Vegas Strip. It brings the glory of ancient Rome to the Nevada desert.
Located on the northwest corner of Flamingo Road and South Las Vegas Boulevard, this massive complex is home to several restaurants, a casino, a shopping mall, a hotel, entertainment venues, and much more. It’s easily noticeable with it’s huge Roman towers.
Interior
Once you enter the lobby, Caesar’s can seem a bit gaudy but it definitely has character. Walking around the interior through the casino to the restaurants and buffet, you’ll see features such as Roman statues, a bar shaped as Cleopatra’s barge, and lavish chandeliers.
Pool
If you ask, the pool attendant might give you a few minutes to walk around the pool area, which is cheesy and spectacular at the same time.
Forum Shops
The Forum Shops, full of high-end stores, are located at the north end of the complex. The outside entrance brings you into an imposing atrium with towering statues, columns, and fountains.
Once you enter the heart of the mall, however, you get a different feeling, as if you were walking on a summer evening in ancient Rome.
At the very end is the Atlantis fountain, complete with a 50,000 gallon aquarium and fiery spectacle, “The Fall of Atlantis”, which plays every hour on the hour.
