San Félix is a village belonging to the municipality of Salamina in the Coffee Region of Colombia. It boasts a beautiful landscape featuring the world’s largest wax palm forest.
Umbría Valley, located halfway between Belén de Umbría and Mistrató in the department of Risaralda, Colombia, has a couple places to visit.
The magical Cocora Valley is the home of Colombia’s national tree and symbol, the wax palm. This tall endangered palm dots the landscape of this extension to Los Nevados National Park, which is a popular day trip from nearby Salento.
Santa Cruz and Savaneta are two districts making up the central part of Aruba. They feature some popular natural and historic attractions.
Arikok National Park covers almost 20% of Aruba. It protects the original natural habitat of Aruba as well as important cultural and historical sites. The park was officially established in 2000.
Noord is the northernmost district of Aruba. It’s the tourist zone and where you’ll find the biggest resorts and some of the best restaurants. There are also lots of attractions in the area. I’ll list them here starting from the north and working my way south.
Agia Roumeli (Αγία Ρουμέλη) is a village in southwest Crete. It’s best known as the southern gateway to the Samaria Gorge.
Melanes (Μελανές) is a village in Naxos, Greece, about 8 kilometers southeast of Naxos Town. The landscape around the village is dotted with minor but nonetheless important archaeological sites.
