A fun place to pop into on a trip to Las Vegas is Madame Tussauds. This world-famous wax museum is a great hands-on place to “spot” celebrities on the Strip.
Admission
It’s a little pricey starting at US$38.99 per person (as of November 2023), but it’s a fun way to beat the heat. You can save money if you buy tickets in advance online. We were also treated to a 4D film at the end. Madame Tussauds is located next to the entrance of the Venetian.
Celebrities
The first room is full of celebrities, and guests are encouraged to interact with the wax figures to take the perfect photos. We posed for pictures with stars such as Brad Pitt, Will Smith, Sandra Bullock, Angelina Jolie, and Hugh Hefner.
Other rooms feature sports stars like Shaquille O’Neal and Tiger Woods, and famous singers such as Michael Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé, and Tupac.
My personal favorite section portrayed characters from The Hangover.
A section with Las Vegas celebrities, such as The Rat Pack, Elvis Presley, Evel Knievel, and Siegfried and Roy, closed out the museum portion of the tour.
Marvel Comics and 4D Film
Finally, we stood by figures from Marvel comic books as well as Samuel L. Jackson’s character, Nick Fury, while waiting for the entertaining 4D film.
