The Bellagio features a spectacle unlike any other on the Las Vegas Strip. Watching the dancing fountain spray water over 1,000 feet into the air, beautifully choreographed to music, is a must-see when visiting Vegas. Every show is different, so when you’re walking past the Bellagio and a crowd is gathering, find a good spot and enjoy!

The Bellagio

The hotel itself is elegant and classy, inspired by the town of Bellagio on Lake Como in Italy. As soon as you walk into the lobby, you’re greeted by a work of art on the ceiling called Fiori di Como. It’s comprised of 2,000 glass flowers hand-blown by Dale Chihuly (you can visit his museum in Seattle).

Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

Beyond the lobby is the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, with a tall glass ceiling. There are five themes throughout the year: Chinese New Year, spring, summer, autumn, and winter. I’ve only been there to see the autumn display.

On my first visit in 2015, there were mostly woodland creatures on display.

On my second visit in 2017, there was a tribute to Muhammad Ali and the focal point was two peacocks. The woodland creatures were still there.
