Lagkada (Λαγκάδα) is one of my favorite villages in Chios. It’s a small fishing village with several good fish restaurants sitting along the peaceful harbor. I stopped in Lagkada during a scenic drive through northern Chios.
It’s very easy to walk through the village in just a few minutes along the harbor. You can see a small canal with a bridge over it and small fishing boats moored along the walls.
It is also possible to catch a water taxi to nearby islands of Oinousses from Lagkada. You can see the main town clearly from the harbor and the Karaburun Peninsula of Turkey in the background.
