In the Na’ama Bay area of Sharm el-Sheikh, you’ll find several hotels, bars, and restaurants, as well as a beach. With nearby access to great food and entertainment, our hotel in Na’ama Bay was a great base for our trip.

Shopping

Honestly, there’s nothing of cultural substance in Na’ama Bay. The biggest activity (besides eating, drinking, and lazing about on the beach) is shopping. There are literally shops on every street, with shopkeepers begging you to come inside “for a look”. Don’t forget to haggle!

Atmosphere

Another great thing about the area is the atmosphere. It seems to always be lively, especially after dark. People are out and about enjoying themselves, and restaurants are desperate to attract diners. A lot of the restaurants served the same cuisine, but we made sure to ask for extras before committing. In the end, we would get tax taken off the bill or a free shisha after dinner.

Street performers will often pop up out of nowhere. We enjoyed watching this group dancing to Soulja Boy while we were walking back to the hotel.
