On two consecutive afternoons, I was able to enjoy the scenery of the Nile from the top deck of my Egyptian riverboat.

The group was dropped off at the riverboat after touring the Aswan Dam. I took a refreshing nap before we set sail towards Kom Ombo and Edfu. Unfortunately, I missed a little action when souvenir sellers in small boats pulled up to the side of the riverboat and started throwing their goods at passengers.

After the nap, joined my newfound friends on the top deck. We chatted as we passed through some beautiful stretches of the river. We did the same the next afternoon as we sailed towards Luxor.

 

The Scenery
